Join us for Schnitzel Fest Saturday, August 5
The food will be like a trip to Germany but you can stay here at Manhattan! Almost 2 years ago, Chef Manfred joined his bride here in Manhattan, and within 10 days after moving here, he brought us our first Oktoberfest. Occasionally, he returns to bring authentic German food to the Lazy T and the many people in the area who love German food!
Chef Manfred had his own resaurant in the Black Forest for many years before coming to America, and he had a great following in Germany. He was accustomed to preparing food for thousands of people for special events. His following continues to grow here in the Manhattan area. In his "day job" he prepares American food for thousands of people daily, but on special occasions he prepares for us many wonderful authentic German dishes.
In the fall, we will have the 3rd annual Okoberfest at the Lazy T. But for "Staycation" we wanted to have a German Sommer Festival. So we will be having several kinds of Schnitzel along with many traditional German salads. Plates of generous portions of schnitzel and a salad buffet will be served for $12.50 each which includes sales tax. Children under 10 are $6.00 each. German beverages and desserts and snacks in the beer garden will also be available for an additional charge.
We will open at 11:00 a.m. to sell tickets for the meal and other items, and we will serve from noon to 8:00 p.m. We have had an amazing response to this announcement on Facebook, so we are extending the time so as to hopefully not have people waiting in line. Reservations may be made through this website or by posting in the event on our Facebook page here: lazyranchadventures.
